As I was driving around in New England and Canada this summer, I kept seeing all these public libraries. Small villages, towns, big cities. Almost all had a library, some just a room in a municipal building, some in what was once a house, some an entire city block. And they were all being used! Some more than others. But they all had people in them, reading, researching, working on computers, taking classes, asking questions. It was great to see. Here is a collection of pictures of some of the libraries I saw.
